Carlos Alcaraz challenges Fernando Alonso to a doubles match: "He'd be a great partner."

Two of the most acclaimed and beloved athletes on the Spanish scene are Carlos Alcaraz and Fernando Alonso . The former lives his titles more in the present, having won Roland Garros , adding five Grand Slams at the age of 22, and just triumphed at Queen's, while the latter continues to prove at 43 that he is one of the best drivers on the grid despite the fact that 20 years have passed since his Formula 1 World Championships.
Even so, both continue to captivate viewers every weekend whenever he plays a tennis match or participates in a Formula 1 race . The Murcian is a huge admirer of the Oviedo-born driver, having grown up watching him win.
Carlos has stated on several occasions that he is a fan of Alonso . One of those occasions was last weekend in an interview he gave while competing in the Queen's Tournament, which he won for the second time .

The journalist asked him which Formula 1 driver he would most like to play a doubles match with, something Alcaraz answered immediately. " Fernando Alonso , definitely. He knows how to play tennis, I think he would be a great partner ," the tennis player replied.
The Murcian also praised the drivers: " I admire F1 drivers because it's a team thing. They have to do what the team tells them to, and I admire that. In tennis, you have to deal with everything on your own . So you have to put your all into it," he said.
